Videos from the University of Northern Iowa

The tuba and euphonium studio at the University of Northern Iowa had the honor of hosting Arnold Jacobs for a week of masterclasses and clinics in 1992. Mr. Jacobs was the long time tubist with the Chicago Symphony and one of the most significant brass pedagogues of the 20th Century with special emphasis on use of wind and psychological triggers to elicit optimal performance. During that residency, Mr. Jacobs was interviewed by accomplished music educator, Dr. Sharon Hansen.
