Biography
After immigrating to the USA in 1903, Sansone
played in major orchestras throughout the US: Los
Angeles, St. Paul, St. Louis, New York, Denver,
and Chicago. He also taught at the Juilliard
School of Music (1920-1947).
His interest in horn design lead to many unique
and innovative "Sansone model"
instruments, and his publications included both
etude and method books, plus editions of the
standard repertoire.
